Pipod
Your account, your choice

Ready to leave?
Here is how.

Delete your Pipod account from inside the app. Take a moment to save anything you want to keep and check any subscription before you begin.

In the app

Profile → Account Settings → Delete Account

Permanent action

Your account and associated content are removed.

Separate billing

Manage Apple subscriptions with Apple.

Before you delete

Account deletion is permanent, and your library can’t be recovered afterwards. Make sure there’s nothing in it you still want.

Deleting an account does not cancel an Apple subscription.

If you have an active subscription, manage it separately in your Apple account. You don’t need to wait for a subscription to end before deleting your account.

Manage Apple subscriptions

Delete your account in the app

  1. Open your profile

Sign in to the Pipod account you want to delete, then open Profile.

  2. Go to Account Settings

Find Account Settings in the settings area of your profile.

  3. Choose Delete Account

Read the confirmation carefully. Choose Go back if you want to keep your account.

  4. Confirm Delete account

The app deletes your account and signs you out.

If Pipod asks you to sign in again, sign in and repeat these steps. A recent sign-in confirms that the account is yours.

What happens to your information

Deleting your account removes it along with your profile, episodes and podcasts, collections, preferences, listening history, scheduled briefings, and usage records. Your audio, covers, profile photo, and uploaded files are deleted too.

This doesn’t cancel billing held by Apple or erase records Apple keeps. It also can’t remove exported audio, downloaded copies on other devices, or content other people have saved.

Some information can remain for a limited time in backups and operational logs, or where the law requires us to keep records, before it’s removed.

If you can’t complete deletion

If your session has expired, sign in again. If the request fails, check your connection and try again; an error message means the account hasn’t been deleted.

If you can’t sign in, use the method you signed up with: Apple, Google, or email. If you still can’t get in, email contact@pipodapp.com from the address on your account and we’ll help you delete it.

Just need a little less Pipod?

You can turn off notifications in device settings, pause News Radar series, or stop sharing public links without deleting your account. Signing out or uninstalling the app does not delete the account.
